We are excited to announce that JIS Academy has partnered with the Real Madrid Foundation to lead our JIS Academy football programs. Recognized globally for their high-level skills, game strategy, and player development, the Foundation’s experienced specialists will bring a world-class football system directly to our pitches. 

Under this new partnership, the Real Madrid Foundation will provide highly trained technical experts and football specialists to train coaches and direct the program, instilling elite methodology into the JIS Academy Football Program.

The day-to-day execution of the program will feature a powerful collaborative structure. The Real Madrid Foundation personnel will work side-by-side with our long-standing JIS Academy coaches, retaining the trusted, deeply rooted community leaders who have been part of JIS Academy for many years, while infusing their daily routines with elite global insights. Together, they will elevate our athletes’ skills, competitiveness, and sportsmanship.

Dragon Soccer Skills is open to boys and girls in Kindergarten to Grade 5. This recreational program is offered after school hours as part of our after-school activity (ASA) program. Soccer Skills builds individual soccer skills such as:

• Penguasaan Bola - Mampu memanipulasi dan mengontrol bola.

• Sentuhan Pertama - Menguasai bola segera setelah bola tiba.

• Belok - Kemampuan untuk memutar tubuh dengan cepat dengan atau tanpa bola.

• Menggiring bola - Menggunakan kedua kaki untuk menggerakkan bola secara dekat dengan kaki Anda ke berbagai arah dan kecepatan.

• Menendang & Mengumpan - Menggunakan bagian kaki yang berbeda untuk menendang bola secara akurat dan dengan kekuatan yang tepat.

Our EY1 and EY2 version of Soccer Skills is called “Junior Soccer Dragons”. This program takes place on Saturdays at the Cilandak campus.

As the program is recreational there are no games played on weekends.

Dragons Soccer is our team based soccer program. Children attend an assessment day at the start of the year. They are placed in teams and then play in the the Jakarta Schools Competition League (JSCL) against players of a similar level.

The Jakarta School Competition League (JSCL) is a competitive league for both boys and girls, featuring approximately 120 teams from various schools across the Jakarta area.

The league runs from September to December, followed by the Cup in April–May 2026, which uses a knockout format—meaning a team is eliminated once they lose a match.

The season concludes with a Gala Festival on the final day, where trophies and medals are awarded to the champions and runners-up of each division. For more information click here.

Girls Open U12 - U14, Girls Open U16 - U19

Apologies- NON JIS students cannot play on Dragons Soccer Teams as its a school league and all students must attend JIS.

Girls who would prefer to play with other girls are invited to play in the Girls Section of our Dragons Soccer section. This section is open to all girls from JIS or outside the community. As we are still in the process of generating interest in the sport, the Girls Section will operate differently than the coed Dragons Soccer team.

In the Girls Section, elementary girls will practice once a week and play matches against each other on Sundays or the occasional Saturday depending on when opposition is available. Middle and High School girls will practice twice a week and play games on weekends in the JSCL. Middle and High School girls will generally play games on Saturday afternoons or when opposition is available.

• Tuesdays : 2:10 - 3:00 PM at PIE Field
• Sundays : 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM at CIL Field 1

Grade 2 - 5 Girls Soccer

• Wednesday : 2:10 PM - 3:40 PM at PIE Field
• Sunday : 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM at CIL Field 1

Girls Soccer OA U12 - U14 (Sept 15 - Nov 8)

• Tue : 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM at CIL Field 1  

Girls Soccer OA U12 - U14 (Nov 10 - Dec 18)  

• Tue and Wed : 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM at CIL Field 1 

There are no start of season soccer assessments for the Girls Dragon soccer section at this time.

Dragons Elite Soccer is designed to provide top-tier training and development for young Middle School and High School athletes (U13 and U15) who show exceptional talent and dedication to the sport. The program emphasizes advanced technical skills, tactical understanding, physical conditioning, and mental fortitude through a rigorous and structured curriculum. Participants benefit from experienced coaching, competitive play, and opportunities to showcase their abilities at regional, national and international levels, fostering their growth into well-rounded, high-performing soccer players. Additionally, the program prioritizes character development, instilling values such as teamwork, leadership, resilience, and sportsmanship to help athletes succeed both on and off the field.

Both JIS and NON JIS were invited to try out for the Elite soccer team. 

Elite Soccer Training Times

Program start from September 26 - December 14, 2025

Training takes place on Fridays with games on Sunday afternoons against local clubs. Teams compete nationally and internationally. As the Elite soccer team only practices once a week, JIS students selected to the team are free to augment their Elite training by joining a JIS Dragons JSCL team.

U13, Friday, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM, Cilandak Field 1

U15, Friday, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM, Cilandak Field 1

U13 & U15 Games: Sunday, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Cilandak Field 1

Format Permainan

U13 and U15 Elite Soccer team players play 7 a side soccer as the focus is on refining ball control, playing in tight spaces and developing all around defensive and attacking skills. In addition most international tournaments that we will join follow a 7 a side tournament format.

Squad Size 

12 players will be selected for the Elite Soccer Team.
 

At Dragons Soccer Camp, your athletes will dive into an action-packed adventure of improving their attacking and defensive skills. They'll fine-tune their positioning, master technique, and become wizards of footwork and agility. But that's not all! We'll also nurture their decision-making abilities and enhance their fitness levels. These camps take place at different times throughout the year.
