100% of our students benefit from the donations that our community make during this important campaign to support the Arts, Athletics & Activities, Tech & Innovation and Experiential Learning. Quite simply, our Annual Community Campaign will empower JIS to continue to be Best for the World, and to help make the dreams of our students come true!

In the goals for this campaign you can hear the voice of our students, parents and faculty and what is important to you.

Your donation will help fund vital programs and support exciting opportunities which will positively impact every student within our community.

Our Campaign Goals 2025-2026

This year our goal is to raise Rp 2,000,000,000 to Empower Excellence across all Divisions.

100% of our students benefit from the donations that our community make during this important annual campaign to support the Arts, Athletics & Activities, Tech & Innovation and Experiential Learning.

On the PIE Campus your gifts will purchase a new laser cutter to support our inventors in the Maker Space and extend the prototype shelving in the Library which has resulted in a 130% increase in student book borrowing!
At PEL your donations to the People of PEL Campaign will outfit our new Learning Kitchen and provide Choir Risers and Sound Shells for the new Theater.
In Middle School our sights are set on equipping our musicians with a set of acoustic guitars and providing state of the art equipment for our young scientists and inventors in the Science and Design Labs.
In High School your gifts will help 'support the symphonia' with a broad range of instruments in vital need of renewal, and ensure investment in the very best technology and equipment for scientists, problem solvers, designers and engineers.
For all our athletes, with your help, we plan to continue the successful Visiting Coach Program - this year with the Positive Coaching Alliance and in addition a specialist program designed to elevate our girls teams.
Outstanding teachers underpin our students' success and your gifts this year will also support Professional Development to ensure they continue to be at the forefront of teaching and learning for your children.

Our gift clubs are designed to help you decide at what level you want to support our programs.

Becoming a Community Dragon is our most inclusive gift club demonstrating the power of every gift. We are grateful for every donation and the valued support they provide at every level. Every gift counts! No gift is too small to make a difference.

We also recognize and celebrate our community's participation in these gift clubs in our Impact Report. Please note that no donation amount will be published, and recognition for your gift will only be published with your permission.

Why does JIS need to fundraise?

At JIS, our dedication to delivering outstanding international education for your children is unwavering. Upholding this commitment demands meticulous management of our school budget, which is geared toward fostering exceptional teaching and learning experiences.

While tuition and other fees are integral, our lofty educational aspirations necessitate supplementary funding to fully actualize them for our students. This entails a continual process of refining and enriching our programs to ensure they remain current and aligned with global best practices.

As a not-for-profit Indonesian Yayasan, JIS relies on donations from the entire community to make this happen. Your contributions are vital in ensuring that we preserve our longstanding tradition of educational excellence — for the current generation of JIS Dragons and many more to come.

What is the purpose of the Annual Community Campaign?

Each year, we will rally together to fundraise for goals determined by our community, ensuring that these funds are promptly put into action. Our goal is 100% participation! We're aiming high and aspiring for everyone in our JIS family – including families, faculty, staff, and alumni – to join in by making a donation.

We believe that when everyone contributes, regardless of the amount, it makes a significant impact. That's why our Community Dragons gift club is so important, celebrating donations ranging from IDR 10,000 to IDR 1,500,000.

Can I give from anywhere in the world?

Absolutely! JIS gratefully accepts gifts from anywhere in the world through our secure online giving forms. Please be aware that all gifts will be processed in Indonesian Rupiah.

For United States taxpayers looking to make a tax-deductible donation, you can contribute in USD to the Friends of JIS Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) organization. Can my donation be tax deductible?

Donations made by individuals in Indonesia are not tax deductible. However, there is tax deductibility associated with gifts made by corporations. Throughout our active campaigns, we will give regular fundraising updates by email and on our campaign website. Additionally, at the end of the campaign, we will share a comprehensive overview detailing the way in which funds will be designated for maximum impact in the new school year.

Our Impact Report (published alongside our Annual Report) offers a comprehensive overview of the progress and achievements made possible by the collective support of our community every year.

How much of my donation is spent on administration?
